Client Configuration
Once you have created your account and downloaded the software from the GitHub repository, you need to configure the Client and Agent.
Navigate to the settings section in the client, and enter your login. This will prompt an authentication token to be granted. On this page you can enter your Bing Maps key, SimBrief username (not the numerical pilot ID), the preferred simulator and make adjustments to the weight and volume units utilized in the software.
Note: The default simulator chosen in the client does not affect the ability to fly in the alternate sim. This setting is controlled in the Agent. See Agent Configuration for details.
The functions of the settings page will directly impact your experience in OpenSky. Make sure to review the options in this page and save them before moving forward!
